Midnyte

Privacy Policy

Midnyte is a personal project run by an individual (“we”, “the operator”), not a company. This page explains what data Midnyte keeps, why, who else handles it, and how to have it deleted.

What we keep

• Your Telegram profile basics: your Telegram user ID, first name, username (if you have one) and app language, as Telegram provides them when you open the bot or Mini App.
• Your age confirmation: when you confirmed you are 18 or older.
• Your chats: the messages you send and the characters' replies, per character.
• Memories: short notes the AI takes about you so characters remember earlier conversations (for example, “The user works night shifts”).
• Generated media: the photos and clips made for you, and the prompts used to make them.
• Purchases and balances: what you bought with Telegram Stars, your Gem balance and spending history, gifts and Premium passes. We never see your card or bank details; Telegram handles payment.
• Usage and settings: when you were last active, your notification choices, daily-spin and referral activity, and technical logs used to keep the service running.

Why

To run Midnyte: to show you your chats, let characters reply and remember you, make the photos you ask for, keep your purchases and balance correct, handle refunds and support, prevent abuse, and fix problems. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Telegram: Midnyte runs inside Telegram, and Telegram processes your account and payments under its own privacy policy.
• OpenRouter (and the AI model providers it routes to, such as Mistral AI): receives the recent conversation and the instructions needed to write each reply.
• Runware: receives the photo or clip description needed to generate your media.
• Contabo: hosts our server and database, in the European Union (France).

These services receive only what they need for that task.

How long we keep it

• Chats, memories and media: until you erase them (below), ask us to delete your data, or Midnyte shuts down.
• Purchase records: as long as needed for refunds, disputes and keeping balances correct.
• Backups: copies of the database are kept for up to 30 days, and then deleted.

Your choices

• Start fresh: in a chat's options in the Mini App, “Start fresh” begins that conversation again; she still remembers you.
• Erase memories: “Erase memories” in the same place deletes what that character remembers about you.
• Notifications: turn daily messages and spin reminders on or off in Settings.
• Everything else: to see what we hold about you, or to have all your data deleted, message @TGX_AI on Telegram. Deleting your data also removes your remaining Gems and items.

Adults only

Midnyte is not for anyone under 18. If we learn we hold data about someone under 18, we delete it.

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
